Join us for Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra’s Spring Masterworks Concert, The Triumph of Tchaikovsky, on Sunday, March 26th at 3pm.
We will start the concert with delightful romantic overture The Hebrides or The Fingal’s Cave by Felix Mendelssohn, a piece which was inspired by the composer’s travels to Scotland. This will be followed by the incredible Concerto for Cello and Wind Orchestra by contemporary Austrian genius pianist and composer Frederick Gulda, which will feature local cellist Nathan Chan.
After a brief intermission you will hear a monumental masterpiece: Symphony No.4 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, also known as Fate Symphony.
We cannot wait to share this concert with you.
