Downtown Bellevue will welcome the start of Pride month with the first-ever LGBTQIA+ dog jog & walk on the Eastside! The Bellevue Downtown Association and Eastside Pride PNW have partnered to present the inaugural Paws & Pride Dog Jog & Walk on the morning of June 4 at Ashwood Park (adjacent to Bellevue Library), made possible through generous support of Symetra.
Registration is now open, with prices starting at $25 for individuals, $40 for pairs, and $50 for a 4-pack. Stick around afterward for the after paw-ty, featuring Seattle Humane’s MaxMobile filled with four-legged friends, an activation from KidsQuest Children’s Museum, and numerous vendors and booths spotlighting pets and LGBTQIA+ local businesses and organizations. Participants will receive goodie bags that featuring pride flag customized event bandanas – a memorable keepsake of this inaugural Pride event in the Heart of Bellevue – and more surprises.
