– Choosing crops to grow year-round
Activities in this class include:
– Cultivating and amending garden beds
– Planting seeds and transplants

– Tour of garden to observe plant support structures, season extension and a variety of annual and perennial plantings.
Class dates are Thursday, March 16; 6-8 p.m. and Sunday, March 19; 10 a.m.-1 p.m. The Sunday portion will take place in small groups of up to 14 and we will be following current public health recommendations. You will have the option of signing up for the Sunday session at either McAuliffe Park in Kirkland or Good Shepherd Center Learning Garden in North Seattle. During these hands-on days, please be prepared for outdoor activities, dress for the weather and plan to wear a mask.
