As a performer, Sergei Govorov thrives both as a soloist and ensemble/collaborative player. His repertoire stylistically ranges from classical saxophone to avant-garde to jazz and pop.

SG’s performances consistently receive the highest level of acclaim. The immense geography of his touring activities includes the USA, Italy, France, Hungary, Switzerland, China, and many cities across Russia. In 2015 he was invited to perform at the chamber music festival in Filey, UK.

In 2010 as a member of the folk ensemble Russian Banjo, he performed at the world’s one of the most prestigious jazz festivals in Montreux, Switzerland. In 2023, CD FAITH was released in collaboration with organist Olesya Kravchenko. The album contains works by modern, world-famous composers, written specifically for this set of instruments (saxophone and organ).

Also in 2023, Sergei got a talent visa and is touring the United States.

Sergei’s repertoire includes the author’s music written especially for him, classical, jazz, folk, and cover versions of famous Russian and world hits.
